Who We Are.
As Africans our poor dietary choices and sedentary lifestyle has made us the sickest race on earth with the shortest life expectancy. Africa’s Healthy Choices addresses this problem by putting the African diet under a scientific microscope. We make specific recommendations on how to cut calories, avoid disease causing foods, and increase intake of disease fighting foods such as fruits and vegetables.
This comprehensive program also emphasizes on the need to incorporate physical activity into daily lives. We make specific recommendations on how to accomplish this without necessarily going to the gym.
Although our primary goal is disease prevention, for those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol we make specific recommendations on how to control them to the point of needing less or no medications.
In a nutshell our approach adopts scientific research to the African way of life. This is one of a few programs supported by clinical studies to lead to weight loss, prevent diseases and ultimately prolong life.
